The most telling astrological pattern of 2001 appears to have been the
opposition
between Saturn and Pluto. The last in this series of three
hits will occur in late May, which should bring needed perspective to
last year's violent events. There are, of course, other planetary patterns
coming up in 2002 that are likely to color our experiences of the year
ahead.
The following
table lists the aspects, stations and sign changes for the outer planets
(Jupiter through Pluto, including Chiron), as well as eclipses, for the
coming year. These are raw data without interpretations. However, during
2002 the astrologers at StarIQ will be providing descriptions of these
significant planetary events, so stay tuned.
These transits can be applied to collective trends such as those covered daily with Planet
Pulse, monthly in the New
Moon Report and whenever planets change signs by
PlanetIQ.
The individual effects of transits depend upon their relationships to
planets in a birth chart. This kind of personal information is available
by email with StarIQ's free PlanetForecast,
in a more in-depth way with forecast
reports and by a private
consultation with a professional astrologer.
Faster-moving
planets (Sun through Mars) and lunations (New and Full Moons) often "trigger"
these slower-moving transits, bringing noticeable events shortly prior
to or after these dates. Timing with astrology is a complex issue involving
many overlapping cycles. Additionally, astrological patterns can express
themselves in many different ways, both positively and negatively. These
depend largely on the level of awareness we bring to any given situation.
