Buz Myers, astrologer, healer and spark of mirth, crossed to the
other side at 8:38 pm, March 12, 2000 in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Known
for his rapid-fire, humorous style in presenting astrological
information, Buz entertained and enlightened us with his every
word. He wielded language like a psychological or spiritual surgeon.
His phrases entered our beings, extracting our emotional and psychic
wounds for awareness and resolution. His affable nature and chameleon-like
ways allowed him to relate to all realms of people. His vast clientele
offered the wonderful world of astrology to so many, and many
of them otherwise unlikely candidates.
Buz
was an astrological institution in Cleveland. His clients extended
around the world. He shared his knowledge freely with unending
energy and vitality. He started RKM Consulting, an astrological
consulting firm, and RKM Publishing, widely known for initiating
the important practice of taping astrological presentations. His
taping efforts brought astrology to those who could not travel
or afford the expense of conferences, thereby expanding the embrace
of astrology to previously unknown proportions. He moved from
Cleveland to Virginia Beach, Virginia and held powerful ceremonial
circles of healing and ritual. The energy of those circles will
continue to resonate in the hearts and spirit of all who enjoyed
them.
Between
1984 and 1986, I had the extreme pleasure and honor to be part
of Buz's RKM Enterprises in Euclid, Ohio. He was a brother. The
kindness and generosity extended to me by this man was phenomenal.
We would go to lunch as a company, laughing and sharing while
we nurtured our bodies. We all played together, attended conferences
as a team and offered each other honest, powerful support and
insight. Buz demonstrated vast compassion in his own unique way.
I loved the trickster he harbored so well in the heart of his
being. His laughter and smile etched into my memory and will echo
through me forever.
Buz
guided many people through difficult places. With selfless enthusiasm,
he inspired and supported many in starting their current careers
in astrology. He would walk them to the precipice of starting
their career. He'd look over the edge, get that grin of his and
say, "It ain't that far down."
His
physical presence may be gone, but the work done and the energy
left by this vibrant man will resonate forever within the waves
of consciousness and the evolution this planet now undergoes.
May the peace of his moving through the cracks between the worlds
be ecstatically wonderful.
Thank
you, Robert Buz Myers. Happy Trails, Amigo.
