A lot of astrologers don´t use the eclipses, losting an important tool in mundane predictive work.
Before the eclipse, www.astroprofile.com was predicting the death of an important religious leader, as were later proven. Also, a lot of astrologers, were expecting the mars conjunction with the eclipse degree with apreension, but most astrologers were thinking in the 11th-13th july, not a big difference.
And, we cannot forget that in the cancer ingress chart, there is a yod who was activated by transit sun.
Much more effective to try calculating inumerous "natal charts" for countrys...
