I've been puzzled by the strange alliances made in the public discussion concerning the Dubai Ports World managing ports in the U.S. I felt that none of the players, from the President on down, were consistent in defending or attacking the wisdom or the legality of handing over the job of managing our boundaries to an Arab nation. That Dubai is first and foremost a financial center just made the whole deal more mysterious to me.
Robert Gover framed the whole brouhaha in terms I could understand. I enjoyed reading it. I'm glad I happened on your web site. All the best, Kirsten Dodge
