SUBJECT: Savannah as the capital city
DATE POSTED: 5/20/2000
NAME: Anthony Louis
Thanks to LC Lewis for the historical correction that Savannah rather than Atlanta was the city of incorporation of the University of Georgia. For a chart with the Sun on the Midheaven in Savannah, the Ascendant is one degree earlier than the Atlanta chart. The change of city makes no difference regarding the Saturn square Pluto aspect discussed in the article.

SUBJECT: 1785 Capital of Georgia

For the sake of accuracy, Atlanta wasn't the capitol of Georgia until 1868.

In fact, the state has had several capitol cities through the years. The first was Savannah, then it appears to have switched between Savannah and Augusta for several years.

The legislative session that incorporated UGA in 1785 was the last to meet in Savannah; after that Augusta was the permanent capitol until it moved again in 1796.

Thanks for this article on the recent UGA deaths. Mr. Louis.
I use the University of Georgia chart set for Athens, Georgia and also the Johndro locality version of it, set, again for Athens.

I'm so glad to see Anthony Louis writing in conjunction with StarIQ.com Dr. Louis is my favorite horary teacher, and a terrific horary astrologer, author and researcher. I hope to see his writings here on StarIQ.com often and at length. I'd like to suggest, since i live in Boulder, CO. that he bend his talent to the mystery of JonBenet Ramsey. My intuition tells me that the parents and brother are not responsible, however i would love to read Anthony Louis' understanding of this tragedy. Thank you.
